Vermicelli and basil soup

 

        

Vermicelli and basil soup
Serves: 4

List of ingredients: 
  • 150 g PANZANI Vermicelli
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 60 g sliced almonds
  • 2 litres chicken stock
  • Small bunch of basil
  • Salt, pepper

  1. Brown the onion, garlic and almonds in some olive oil in a large stockpot. Stir over a medium heat until the onion turns transparent.
  2. Then add the stock and basil; bring it to the boil.
  3. Add in the vermicelli and simmer until the pasta is cooked.
  4. Season to taste and serve right away.
