Banana with caramelised vermicelli
Preparation time: 20 - 30 min
List of ingredients:
- 250 g PANZANI Vermicelli
- 12 bananas
- 3 vanilla pods
- 1 litre milk
- 75 g butter
- 250 g brown sugar
- Heat the milk with halved and scraped vanilla pods and 100 g sugar. Cook the Vermicelli pasta in it over a gentle heat for 5 minutes. Pour this preparation into a gratin dish.
- Melt the butter in a frying pan and add in 50 g sugar. Add the whole bananas when the mixture becomes brown and turn them over carefully. Caramelise them for 2 minutes on each side over a medium heat.
- Arrange them on the Vermicelli, sprinkle with sugar and grill them until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, melt 100 g sugar in a sauté pan with half a glass of water. Add in a handful of Vermicelli to caramelise it. Arrange them in small bunches on each banana.
